Privacy Policy

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash). You may optionally provide a display name.

Photos You Upload: To use the try-on feature, you upload photos of yourself or others. These photos are stored securely on Amazon S3 (cloud storage). We store both your original uploaded photos and the AI-generated try-on images produced from them.

Product Data: When you submit a product URL, we retrieve and store publicly available product information from that URL, including product images, titles, and pricing metadata.

Fashion Show Viewer Data: When someone views a Fashion Show you share, we may collect the name they enter (if prompted), their reactions, comments, and rankings. We do not require viewers to create accounts. We do not collect email addresses or other contact information from viewers.

Usage Data: We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics only.

Payment Information: If you purchase credits, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. We receive a transaction confirmation and token from Stripe.

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service
• To generate AI try-on images using your uploaded photos
• To send you transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your photos or try-on images for advertising, for training AI models, or for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

Your photos and generated images are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 with access controls that restrict them to your account only. Your account data is stored in an encrypted MySQL database. We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access control.

No system is perfectly secure. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your uploaded photos and AI-generated images according to the following schedule:

• Active accounts: Your photos and generated images are retained for as long as your account remains active.
• Inactive accounts: If your account has had no activity for 24 consecutive months, we will permanently delete your photos, generated images, and associated data.
• Closed accounts: If you close your account, we will permanently delete your photos and generated images within 90 days of closure.

Activity means logging in, generating a try-on image, or using any core feature of the Service. We will send you an email notice before any automated deletion occurs, giving you the opportunity to log in and preserve your data.

We are building in-app account deletion tools. In the meantime, email us at hello@letsdress.app to request account closure or early deletion of your data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use third-party vendors including AWS (storage), Stripe (payments), and FAL.ai (AI image generation). These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their services and are bound by data processing agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Let’s Dress, our users, or others.
• Fashion Show Viewers: When you share a Fashion Show, the try-on images you include in that show become visible to anyone with the link (and password, if set). You control what is shared.

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you upload photos of minors, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of those individuals and consent to this Privacy Policy on their behalf.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, please contact us at hello@letsdress.app and we will delete it promptly.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@letsdress.app. We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

Regardless of where you live, you may:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis

We use a session cookie (ld_session) to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics or similar behavioral tracking tools at this time.

Try-on images are generated using FAL.ai’s FLUX model. When you initiate a try-on, your uploaded photo and product image are transmitted to FAL.ai for processing. FAL.ai’s own privacy policy and terms of service govern their handling of this data. We recommend reviewing FAL.ai’s policies at fal.ai.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last updated.
